Grease zerk ?

I have a 2003 Gmc sierra 1500 Z71, I have heard there are 11 zerks on the frt. end. I have only found 10. Also what size are zerk threads? Please help...

for the home mechanics with these trucks, I am about to tackle the job of gettin greasy, is there a trick to get up and grease the idler arm end?

 

 

Also when greasing the ball joints, they have boots. It says only a couple pumps to grease them so not risking of rupturing the boot. My question is where does all the grease go from all the times you grease the particular boot? Does it just stay??????

I had that problem with greasing the idle arm zerk. I found a side/angle grease fitting at Murray's. It slides on the zerk from the side, and now its no problem. Its actually easier greasing all the fittings. I feel the boots first because too much grease and they will split.
