Noise and loose feeling

I have a 2004 2500HD, and just noticed a noise coming from the front passenger side area. Its a thud type noise, like ball and socket maybe. It will only doing if i am going slow over uneven pavement or turning into a driveway with a curb. I can also get it to do when i am going slow and just jerking the steering wheel back and forth - like making the truck wobble back and forth. I jacked it up tonight and checked the play up/down and side to side. Both front sides had no play up/down but side to side had a small amount. So now what do i do?? Second, has anyone ever noticed a slight loose feeling in the steering or front suspension when going over bumps in the road - like at intersections when turing, the pavement is rippley? Maybe I am being to picky with one - I know the steering shaft was replaced in my truck. Anyone input would be great, thanks guys!

Yeah I had the same problem on mine, it feels like it pulls to one side too. take it to the shop and have them replace the tie rod ends and idler arms, I had that done its like a brand new truck, only cost me 150.
