Egnine misses with the A/C on

I notice at highway speeds the engine seems to miss when the A/C is on, any ideas

Mine usually studders/stumbles at idle with the A/C on (when the compressor clutch engages) but it's done that since new so I figure it's normal. At highway speeds though it's pretty smooth. Have you checked your injectors and plugs?

should have mentioned that , nope, not throwing any codes , that was the first thing , the only thing for that matter that I knew to check

Is your A/C system charged fully? It could be such a draw that it makes the motor strain.
