Key Buzzer

Hello everyone I am new here and have been floating around from thread to thread for a couple of weeks and have used some of your tips and fixes to keep the truck up and running properly. I have searched the other threads but cannot find what I am looking for. My interior lights are not coming on when the door opens and the buzzer does not buzz when the keys are left in. There is power to the lights as they come on when the switch is activated. Sometimes the buzzer will go on intermitentlyBut not to often. I think It might be the switch in the door jam but wanted other opions befor I start replacing parts.

I would venture a guess that it is the switch in the door jam, as you mentioned. Both things - lights and buzzer - would be triggered from that switch. Right? Makes sense to me.

 

Do the lights come on if you open the passenger door????

You could try to swap sides with the switches and see if that solves the issue. Then at least you are not buying parts, although I have to think that a door switch is cheap.
