Side Mirror Glass Scratches

I have a few deep scratches in my side mirrors on my 03 1500HD. Just wondering if this can be repaired easily (wax, polish, etc) or is replacement the only option. These appear to have the dimming and heated feature. Thanks in advance as always.

You might try some Lens Doctor on it; works on eyeglasses.

The easiest way would be to just get a replacement flat mirror piece that sticks over the old one. It's cheap and very easy. You don't have to do anything but stick it on. I am not sure about the heat and dimming features, but I work in the car business and we do this all the time.

 

Other than that, if you can't get the scratches out, eBay and junk yards are always my best friends for car parts.
