Help Buying Rims

Go to this site and enter your oem tire size and this EBAY set tire size. It'll give you the differences in all aspect ratios as well as what % it will effect your speedometer reading (at the bottom).

Keep in mind ride comfort, steering, braking/ABS, fuel economy when going to larger sizes. These wheels may not accept oem tire pressure sensors.

I'm assuming that you probably have 265x70-17" oem wheels, so this EBAY set isn't that far off in aspect ratios from what you now may have.

I don't know if they'll fit on your truck w/o lifting. Those are much wider wheels/tires that oem.

I just changed out my oem 17" cast aluminum wheels/265x70-17 tires on my '07 Silverado LTZ crew cab. I put on 20" LTZ wheels/275x55-20" tires.

I've noticed a slight drop in fuel economy. I know my speedometer is now effected, reading 60mph when it's actually 60.6mph. Since mine are also oem GM wheels, I don't have concerns about the braking/ABS, but my brakes may not stop as quickly or last as long as with oem 17" wheels/tires. My oem tire pressure sensors mounted right up. Ride comfort is a little less cushy, but my truck is a 2wd so off road use isn't a factor.
