Brake Controller Install Pics

I installed my brake controller today. A little solder, some shrink tubing, some wire wrap. The results:

Looks great.....nice job................just one thing you might want to change......instead of using electrical tape to hold the wires up against the duct work....might want to use cable ties.............I have found in the past that electrical tape will start to unravel with the heat and the cold from the duct.....

Yea, I had my suspicions about the heat/cold and the tape when I put it on, but I didn't have any cable ties the right size, so I went with the tape. I could also get a couple more of those plastic clips that you see in the pics and install those in the duct.

 

I don't know if you can tell, but I left the wires a little longer than was strictly necessary for the job. That way if I screwed up the install, I could just cut an inch off the wires and start over. So, the goal in that area is to keep the wiring up and away from my big clumsy feet, cuz sure as ..., if it's hanging down a little bit, I'll get my toe caught on it getting in or out.
