How Long Do Oem Autoride Shocks Last?

I have always gone over 100k with mine. I had the air pump fail and a hose fail but not the shocks. At 53k I believe you would be wasting some $$ and would not get much ride improvement. Unless you do a great deal of towing a heavy trailer or boat.

THanks, I guess I'll leave them on. Many shocks are toast at 50K....glad these seem to last a lot longer?

I had 99,650 miles on my 02 Suburban and the autoride shocks (rears)were still doing great. Traded it in on my 07 Avalanche

i just traded my 01 suburban 1500 with autoride for an 07 suburban 2500.

i usually carry a loaded cargo area and was pushing the maximum weight for the 1500 - and had broken 3 autoride pumps in the process.

got tired of that and moved to the 2500 - but when i traded it in (unloaded) the shocks and the ride were fine - at 72000 miles.
