2000 S10 # Door Ext.cab Zq8 Shocks

It is a 2wd not an extreme, but it has the ZQ8 susp., with the 4.3 and auto trans. I want to replace the Bilsteins on the front. Has anyone changed these out with Monroes or Gabes, if so, what was the shock # you came up with? I would go with a gas pressurized shock... trying to get a smoother ride out of this ZQ8 susp. It has been jarring the hell out of me since new...I love the look of it, but have always hated the ride.

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
