Largest Size Tire For 07 Nbs 18" Z71 Rims

Haven't seen this answered before so throwin it out there. I have a 07 NBS Silverado Z71 with the 18" rims. The tires that are on there are 265/65/18 which suck. I plan on adding a leveling kit to raise the front and would like to know what is the largest size tire I can fit on these rims and still be safe. I believe they are 8" wide. I want to go with 305/65/18 but that may be too much. Any suggestions? The leveling kit I am looking at is roughcountry 2" but have seen some over strut leveling kits being marketed. Any advice on this as well would help.

Probably 285/65/18 which is 33x11x18 I believe...The 305/65 is about 34x12.5x18 and would rub a lot.

In the case of my z71 Suburban, the tire look pretty much proportional to the truck, I would probably only go up 1/2 inch and maybe a 1/2 wider. The 285/65/18 is a full inch taller and almost a full inch wider. It might be ok. I think I would probably go 275/65/18.

265/65/18 = SW=

 

Both of these are available in this size

275/65/18 = SW= 11 OD= 32.1

 

Here is one of my favorites that is available in these two sizes.

265/65/18 = SW= 10.7 OD= 31.7

285/65/18 = SW= 11.5 OD= 32.7
