08 Sierrahd 3500 Exhaust

Well I bought a New 2008 GMC Sierra HD 3500 6.0L Single wheel not the dually.... anyways its got a massive keg looking muffler which in my book needs to be replaced with something a little more pleasing to the eye and yeah I have to have the V8 rumble.... This is the deal no one makes a catback exhaust for my truck especialy being a long bed regular cab... At first I was concerened about the active fuel management and the way the truck would sound on four cyclinder mode but come to find out my rig does not have AFM which i am happy to hear.... I guess in 2007 they changed the exhaust style to Singel 3.5" in and Single 3.5" out muffler.... I am sure the stock exhaust flows just fine My goal is sound not so loud you cant hear yourself think but you know nice deep sound when you get on it and a rumble at idle...

 

1. Has anyone ever done anything with this exhaust yet if so i would really like some input of what you did and if you like it or what you would have done differently..

 

2. Anyone ever run the flowmaster 50 series HD muffler what do you think of this muffler would it be to loud on a 6.0L

 

3. Or I could run the 50 series bigblock muffler those are the two mufflers i can use from flowmaster thats what the tech department told me

 

4. Also last but not least i really wanted a single in dual out muffler but for that set up flowmaster only makes a 3" in and 2.5" dual out would it be a bad idea to neck down from the stock 3.5" to 3" in and the dual 2.5" out or should i stay with the single 3.5 in and the single 3.5 out
