Which Aux Adaptor For My Xm Xpress?

Recommended Posts

Posted

My truck 2006 Silverado LT2 with a Bose Speaker system, single CD player, steering wheel audio controls, no factory XM, no OnStar.

Radio has (BAND/CD AUX) button.

I recieved an Audiovox Expess XM unit from Michelin tires and I want to install it in my Silverado but I want it to remain portable so I can transfer it to my other cars. It has a built in FM mod, but the quality is poor. I would like to install an AUX adaptor to connect my XM to my radio.

What adaptor would be best for me?

PIE GM12-AUX

SOUNDGATE AUX GMV3

PAC AAI-GM24

Also where should i tap for power to the XM unit. Id like it to stay on with the RAP.

Ok so I went with the PIE GM12-AUX

Where can i tap for RAP for this and the 12Vto5V converter box for the XM? I want it to stay on with the radio when the truck is shut down.

Thanks
