Auto Trac In Neutral

well tonight when i got in my truck after goin into town to pick up pizza, i started it up and the neutral light was on on my autotrac 4x4 but the truck was still driveing just like it was in 2 hi so i push 2hi while im driving through town and the light just blinks for about 30 seconds then stops and its still in neutral so when i get to the red light i put the truck in neutral and push 2hi and it goes right in, and nothing out of the ordinary happens again, should i be worried about this ? as winter is coming here and i need my 4x4 to work.
