New Goodyears And Shocks

Well I finally got new tires today. 285s Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors Pro Grade. They seem like really good tires so far. It seems I have lost a little power out of the hole upsizing the tires. I had to crank the bars and trim the bumper trim a bit. The wierd thing was that the first 2 tires they mounted they couldn't get to balance, turns out the were defective. The truck does seem to be a little softer now in turns but over all I would recommend 285s to anyone, it looks way better. I think next week I'm gonna order an exhaust kit from flowmaster and some new shocks. Any thoughts on shocks? Who has the best, I was thinking about the edlebrock ones but dont know yet?

Check out (www.topguncustomz.com or www.Westcoastoffroad.com). They both have good prices on Bilsteins. I got mine for $280.00 for all 4(2 5100's for the front and 2 5125's for the rear. The price for 4 5100's is IIRC $235.00.

whats the difference between 5100 and 5125?

5100's are vehicle specific and 5125's are universal mounts. A 5125 is identical to a 5100 except they come in different lengths for lifted or modified vehicles. RCD suspension which sells Bilsteins with their lift kits have them made for them in the extended lengths for their kits, but if you have a lift kit other than RCD you can measure the length(Compressed and Extended) of the shock you need and check the Bilstein website and it will have the numbers you need for your rig. Then call your favourite Bilstein dealer and order them up.
