4wd Service And Netural Light

I have read a few messages with the same problem but I need answers more in detail. I have a 2003 Silverado Z71 LT. Since I bought it new I have had the light on the dash illuminate red or sit in netural. If I turn it off and restart it is fine. Now that I have 77K on the truck last week this has happened 4 times. The switch says I am in netural but the truck seems no different. Today the 'service 4wd' came up on the display and now went off.

After reading a few posts it looks like cold solder joints on the 4wd switch and or a switch on the transmission?

I understand these two parts can be replaced rather inexpensivly and I can do it myself buy Im dumb and need part numbers and locations to replace both.

Can anyone just spell it out for me? I have read 'dlc" and ts..something and do not know what this means.....I think I can buy on www.gmpartsdirect.com at a better cost but they supply no pictures of what Im buying so I am hesitating on the purchase without some direction....

Hope I am clear here.

Thank you in advance!

Replacing the 4wd switch seemed to have solved the problem....
