Rear door handle snapped in half the other day, just put them on a couple of months ago. I could get some 2-sided tape and put it back on, but then I would have a crack in the handle, and I am sure it would fall off after a while anyway.

Does anybody know if Putco stands behind their product? Of course I can not find the receipt where I bought the handle covers from, so my only option is to see if Putco will cover it.

Interesting, has anyone else noticed this problem from Putco products?

I bought some full mirror covers made by them and when they got here and I saw them on my truck (without the tape) I sort of chickened out thinking it was too much chrome. They're just laying in a drawer now, maybe I'll put them on someday. But if the quality is that bad I won't even waste my time.

I've had my door and tailgate handle covers for 3+ years with no problems.

Without a bill of sale I would be suprised if they cover it.

I have the Putco full mirror covers as well. I had to dremel off a small corner on the underside to make clearance for the power-folding. No biggie, but it bugs me when they can't get something so simple right the first time. Quality is fine since they are not door handles and are not grabbed daily and in cold weather. What do I think of them? 50-50....would I buy them again? Probably not. Am I sorry I bought them? No, not really. I'll leave them on. I was not sure if I liked them at first, but I have gotten to accept them. I realize this didn't help you or anyone else in here, but just thought I'd post it anyway...LOL

I have heard from others that they look good and complement my chrome bug deflector, which is true I suppose. But if my truck were any other color than Steel Gray, I would not have the chrome bug deflector or the chrome mirror covers. Never been much of a "Bling" guy I guess. Oh well, this way, in a few years, I can change them out and have a new/different look again.

Anyone want to buy my 20" stock wheels? I am getting 18's with more rubber on them in the spring. Can't get used to this look with the 20's.

Yep, those are the same ones I've got. I want to like them, I really do, but it is definitely a lot of chrome. My real preference would be if the mirrors were painted black (like the rest of my truck) instead of that textured plastic. I just want a smooth surface that is easy to wash the bugs off of. I tried looking for painted mirror covers and I think I found every color but black, lol.

I agree with you that on most other trucks I wouldn't like them but they sort of blend in with the rest of your truck so much that it doesn't make as much of a contrast from body to mirror. With a black truck I'd be blingin' it like crazy.
