No Power Under Load

Hi, my 4.3l in my 01' Silverado Reg Cab SB lacks any power when going up a slight incline or passing somebody. This is my 3rd vehicle with a 4.3l and I'm pretty sure all the other three had more power and speed than this one. I know it's a v6, but really my other trucks ran much, much better. So the truck is stock, except the last owner pull dual mufflers on it. The only code it through was three days ago, autozone said it was a ECT code for the temp being low all the time.

I have hooked a vacuum gauge up to it, and it looks good, 19 in/HG, on acceleration it drops to 0 then back up to 24 in/HG. So I don't suspect an exhaust problem. Could this be my MAP, ECT or Tranny (Lock up TCC). It just feels like I have to push to much pedal to make it move, this truck weighs nothing, and my 92 had much more power.

Oh, it idles smooth, does not miss and never stalls.

Any ideas, thanks!

Interesting update, at the suggestion of another post, I unplugged my EGR valve connector. This made a huge improvement on driveability. It's a lot better climbing

hills and accelerating all together.
