Transfer Case Question

I was wondering about my transfer case the one in my 1990 1/2 ton is completly toast! i have a 241c in it and it is behind a manual trans, my question is i have a 91 3/4 ton with a automatic will that transfer case work on my 1/2 ton or are there a difference in splines between the auto and manual trans? also how much pain will it be to put my 3/4 ton axles and etc in my 1/2 ton? i have the complete 3/4 ton to work with and the front end was just rebuilt>? also i do alot of offroading and pulling trailers so i want to upgrade from the 10 bolt with g80 to the 14bolt with g80 locker! thanks much
