Ok guys....you have got to trust me....I did all the searching I could first to see if I could avoid asking the "newbie" question. I just could not find what I was looking for.

I've got my BedRug and Truxedo installed, and now I am trying to figure out which Nerf Bars to go with. All I have seen thus far are the GM 6" ovals. I like them, but was used to the tubes on my 2001. I would LOVE to see pics of the GM tubes, or any other tubes, that you have installed - or have seen anywhere.

Specifically, I like the looks of the tubes that "flare" in at the ends and mount under the lip of the cab (like the 6" ovals do. I have seen these on earlier model GM's (and some other makes) but can't find anything for the NBS.

Help. Thanks (from a newbie)!

I had Nasta SS bars on my 2004 Sierra and will likely get them again for my 2003. They are stainless steel and have stainless steel brackets and bolts. Just be sure not to get the private label nasta bars, they are cheaper and come with carbon steel brackets.

Hey newbie, I have the best brands and some really great prices. Call for great deals. Great choice with the Bedrug and the Truexdo cover.

Somewhat off topic, but just curious if it's easy enough to install the GM factory nerf bars myself? Does it require any drilling or are the holes already there?

The dealer is charging $120 to install.

Thanks.
