Guys, hoping someone can help here. 07 Chev 1/2 ton classic w/ 7.5 Western ultramount standard blade. 17,000 miles. This is the second time that I've been driving at up to 55 mph, and angle blade from one direction to the other. For what it's worth, in 2wd both times. While angling, service air bag and service brake system message comes up on driver info center. Have been to chev dealer after first encounter, and no codes were found. I checked with a scanner that I purchased after second time, and no codes. I feel that there is a power spike, or drop, sending the truck off in the weeds. Is it the plow drawing too much? This second time, I could repeat it and watched voltmeter get up around 15 volts. plow angles very quick, doesn't seem to be any drag in hydraulics....I'm at a loss, any ideas, or has anyone else experienced the same? By the way, when plowing driveways, everything works fine. Thanks for any suggestions.

What did you tap as a power wire for the remote/switch?

The only tap into Chevrolet's system is on the HOT side of the 15 amp 4wd fuse, at the fuse panel on left side of dash. Plow system is fused seperatly. I did, up until yesterday, have it tapped with an "add a circuit", which showed a little oxidation on both fuse plugs, so it was removed, and I went straight to fuse tap. Thanks for getting back to me.

well, I did a little looking around. I had tapped into 4WD fuse, with a "add a circuit" double fuse holder. less than 1 year old.....I found a LOT of oxidation. This was mounted in the dash fuse box. Not sure where so much oxidation could come from being mounted inside. Anyway, removed this, and put a fuse tap off Hot side, and used plow during yesterdays storm. Plowed, drove on highway, kept angling at speed to duplicate problem, but all seems fine. maybe it was just insufficient contact using the "add a circuit" Don't think I'll buy another after seeing this!
