"vehicle Overspeed" Dic Warning Message

Is there a possiblity to have this warning message not to be stuck all the time in my DIC?

I don't mind having the message infact I find it useful together with warning chime - but I really hate the idea that I cannot use the DIC as long I'm doing a little over the speed limit

 

this is the code for this option:

UD4 - ALARM SYSTEM-OVERSPEED WARNING

 

btw my dealer have no problem removing it but they say GM won't approve even for having the message temp appear

I still need a solution - I hate the fact that GM is forcing it when it should be consumer choice!

what speed were you driving when this appeared ??

conversely - what speed ratings are your tires ??
