Stock Ride Height?

Recommended Posts

I have an 01 burban. It sits sort of higher than most other suburbans and yukons I see on the road. Not much, but just a tuny bit. I've been thinking about lifting it, but now several shops are telling me it looks like I may already have about a 2 inch or maybe 3 inch lift on it. From underneath the truck, everything appears to be stock, so I have no clue. When I first bought the truck it had 265/75 16 (31.9 inches tall) tires on it with plenty of clearance for the tires. I noticed that my suburban definitely sits 2-3 inches higher than my father in law's 99 silverado, as I have parked next to it numerous times, and we've shared a trailer in which the tongue jack had to be lowered a good bit when tranferring it from my hitch to his. I was wondering if anyone knows the stock ride height of a Suburban or if any Suburban or yukon xl owners can measure their stock ride height for me? I'll measure mine from the ground to the center of each wheel well lip and post what mine is. Maybe I can post some picture as well.
