Reverse Troubles

HELP i took my truck wheeling at the local off-road park and it did real well but as i tried to put the truck in reverse it wouldnt move it tried but it just couldnt do it so i figured it was transmission trouble so i put a rebuilt tranny in it and i still have the same problem HELP

Sounds like the rebuild is no good either!! Judging by the year of your truck and the problems it sounds like the famous 10 vane 700R4 reverse problems, alot of rebuilder mess the low/rev clutch assembly and it works for alittle while then lets go, sounds like it needs to be taken apart again and done right!

sounds more like a trransfer case problem?...can you put tranny in netrual and push truck forward? and reverse?

Why do you think it would be a t-case issue? They are direct drive with chain with a simple disengaging gear they go or they don't. just sounds like he got a bad rebuilt tranny it happens all the time with no reverse after a rebuild.
