Vht Niteshade

Has anybody used this product? Basically it is a spray on head/tail light tint. I was thinking about giving my taillights a very light tint to make them blend in more and then maybe doing something to the yellow reflectors/blinker lights inside of the headlights. Here is an example...

So what do you guys think? Should I do it or do any of yall have experience with niteshade?

And here's a pic of my truck that I would tint...

I just got 3 cans of it from Summit. Now I just need a couple of nice sunny days. And I'll make sure to post lots of pictures. :sigh:

my cousin used it on his tail-lights, looks just like a cover. it's dark, but the brake lights still show. I really liked the look. BUT, after 1 year the paint started bubling and now it doesn't look so good. Be sure and prep real well and take your time. should look killer when you're done! :sigh:

I have it on my Camaro tail lights. Looks great don't have to worry about the possibility of overheating your tail lights with covers, but still gives the same look. For the best look put light coats on until you reach the darkness you want and then put a lot of coats of clear on top, wet sand and shine them bad boys up. Just the VHT gives kind of a mat finish.

Nightshades will look flat and dull by itself. You'd have to clear over it and them most likely wetsand and polish to get a glossy shine. With that amount of effort into it, you might as well send them to a body shop to do them. Usually they'll do them for 50-150 bucks depending on what they have going on. Take it form me, the amount I spent in tint, clear, sandpaper, and polishes to do it right was equal if not more than what the shop would have charged.
