Rear View Temp

alright when i turn the key to the "on" position the rear view mirror does that thing where it "loads" and shows all the lights displayed for like 3 secs and then reads the compass.

 

but when it is "loading" it shows the temp functions like Celcius and Ferinheight. the owners manual doesnt show how to display the outside temp..

 

can anybody tell me how to do this?

 

PS. i also have a appt. to have keyless installed on tuesday (will be my first vehicle to have keyless) its gonna be sweet!

Thats because your truck doesn't have the temperature function (Although the mirrors LCD display does)

All the trucks with that mirror were like that,My '97 was,It only had the compass function,no temperature.

And no (In case you were gonna' ask) You cannot add the temperature function to that mirror,you would have to buy a mirror with the temperature function and also add the temperature sensor.
