Obs And Bilstein's

anybody do this???...run in to any troubles???...didja use the Heavy Dutys???

Looking on Bilstein's website, I see there are Heavy Dutys and Smooth Ride...my OBS Escalade (think Tahoe/Yukon/Denali) has the smooth ride option with Bilstein's from the factory (GM) but from what I read on Bilstein's site, the smooth ride Bilstein's are built to GM spec and not Bilstein's...

Bilstein recommends the Heavy Duty shocks as superior...I think I would like to replace mine (only 60K miles) with the Bilstein HDs instead of the "weaker" smooth ride "Bilstein's" but I see on the site that there may be some difficulties with installation on OBS..."some modification may be necessary"...hmmmm...any ideas?

well, my new Bilstein's were installed and the early returns are: My 60K Bilstein's were probably not dead (of course I didn't think they were yet)...not by a long shot...the ride is firm but not too much different so far than the GM spec'd Bilstein's that came with the Cadillac smooth ride option...the Bilstein's I had put on are the Heavy Dutys...

I saved a bit with free shipping and the 10% off coupon...
