Tire Pressure Monitor

Does the dealer have to increase the pressure range for the monitor? I put new tires on and they run at 50 lbs. The front tire warning comes on at every start up. Can I fix this myself?

Just to make sure... you know generally you should keep your tires at the manufactures recommended pressure, even though the tire says max 50, thats its burst point, not what you ahve to run it at...
