Ok well I read up on the other shaving posts on here and I am not sure if I should remove the " GMC ", " SIERRA " and " SLE " off my truck, the gmc and sierra is on the tailgate and then SLE is on the B post of the truck, should I remove em or leave em, I was messing around with it today and peeled the C up alittle on the GMC and it was much whiter under there then the truck itself any suggestions on how to fix it so if in the event I do remove the logos and such that the brighter color isnt as noticeable. Thanks again.

Take 'em all off! If the paint is a lot cleaner underneath than the rest, the truck probably needs to be at least clayed, maybe polished anyway. I pulled off all of my badges after 8, almost 9 years, and there was no difference in the color. :D

Take them all off. With as much as your truck has going on it'll definitely help quell the business! You won't regret it. If you need, send me a good pic of your truck and I'll Photoshop the badges and decals off for you so you can get an idea.

Good old gasoline on a rag works awesome to remove this type of gooey stuff. Road tar, bugs, etc can't hold up to the old universal solvent GAS! Doesn't hurt the paint either.
