1981 Stalling When Taking Off From A Stop

It will idle fine just when i take off it falls on its face then it wont start for a minute after that it runs fine for a minute then it repeats it self..iv replaced fuel pump , fuel filter, wires, plugs...no egr replaced disturbuter will run for five mins then die then it will star back up?

From what info you have given I would look into the cap and rotor and vacuum advanced if equipped... Welcome to the site!

After it stalls, open the hood. Does it smell like gas? Sounds like your problem is you're running too rich, and the gas smell would confirm the issue. If it's carburated: your float is stuck, seat is bad, or you need to adjust the needles. If it's fuel injected (throttle body): you might have a fuel press. regulator problem, or bad injectors (or possible a bad mass air flow sensor, but not as likely as the first two).
