2.2L engine mods??

i need some help and advice!! im looking into either put a new cam or rocker arms into my 98 sonoma. heres the delima/question.....i know comp cams will make me a new cam for my engine for about 115 bucks plus shipping, pretty afordabe, BUT, i have to send them my cam and they will modify it.....problem...i have to remove the engine and ill have no truck for about two weeks, plus i dont think i have the confidence of removing this engine, its a wiring nitemare!! too many computer sensors.

   my next option was to just replace the lifters with a higher ratio rocker arms, for more valve lift,, which is MUCH easier to replace , and quicker. i dont know yet if anybody will make rocker arms, but if they do, which choice would be better to replace? does anybody have enough experience with the 2.2 to know it i have enough clearence to install new rocker arms??
