Radio Lights Went Out?

I went out to the truck this morning and headed to work and noticed that the radio lights (I assume it is LED's) are dimmer then usual, but then again it is bright and sunny out, and I had my cool shades on (nice truck, cool shades: how can I lose?) and I just assumed that it was a combination of stuff, and did not pay any attention to it.

On the way home, I noticed that the lights on the radio are out. It is like the radio is turned off. Radio works like a charm, but no lights. I turned on the HVAC and the lights on there came on, but radio was dark. Any thoughts before I call the dealership and get it fixed? BTW, truck is only 4 months old.

Thanks.

Time for a trip to the dealer. Really weird that the lights would have gone out so quickly on a new truck though.

I took into Jenner Chevy dealer, and apparently the LCD display went and so a new radio is on order. I asked it is was common, and never did a solid answer. He said that thousands of radios are made, and occasionally one or two go bad. Oh well, next week a new one should in.
