Odometer Display Fault ?

Hi,

I live in the UK and run an `04 Silverado.I have a problem that I am unable to solve,on the DIC the odometer has lost it`s mileage and shows "ODOMETER ERROR"

Could you please help with some advice as there are no Chevy truck dealers in the UK for me to askso I have to carry out my own servicing and repairs.

GM recalled the clusters. You should be able to get the dealer to replace it for free or at a small cost.

Its not a recall...Its a special policy. Depends on the year model and mileage to say if its free or not.

 

It will have to be installed by a dealer because it has to be programmed normaly and again for mileage/hours setup...atleast thats the way we do it in the US.

Thanks for the replys,are you saying that I have to replace the cluster,thats a big problem ,as I said no dealers over here.
