Replacing Transfer Case With Auto 4wd To One W/o

I had a transmisson shop confirm that my transfer case is shot in my 99 Yukon. Currently it has the auto 4wd option. I can get a transfer case from a 97 for real cheap that came from a truck with push botton 4x4. If I replace mine with this what will I need besides a new dash control, or will the current one still work?

If your present transfer case doesn't have auto 4wd, then just adding a TC with an auto feature, may not function as you would like it too. Its not just a mechanism swap. The TC with auto feature relies on a PCM to manage it.
