Removing Scratches From Wheels

I have a 2004 Sierra Z71. I had to go pull my buddys FJ cruiser and another buddys jeep cherokee out yesterday. While I was pulling them out I got ito a pretty bad rut. After I got back into town and sprayed my truck off pretty good I noticed that there were some minor scratches on my rims. They are not real deep but you can tell where a rock or somthing rubbed against them while I was spinning. My rims are 17 inch stock SLT rims (not chrome). Does anybody have any ideas how I can remove these or repair them??? Thanks

I wet sanded them down a little with fine grit. And then used a scratch remover/polish on them. And then put a clear coat wax on afterwards. It worked pretty good. There is one or two deeper scratches in my rear right wheel that didn't come out but it looks 20x better than it did.

That's good. I've used my buffer on my Jeep OEM wheels many times and made them look a LOT better than when I got back from the muddy trails. The clear coat on factory wheels is pretty thick.
