Soap Residue

So after a couple of automated touchless car washes, and washes by hand, i've notice that there is this residual soap residue left in the pitted services of the handle. How do you guys get this white residue off the handle?

Try peanut butter, it works great in removing wax from trim pieces. It might work in this case.

If it doesn't rinse of with water and a sponge, take it back to the car wash and talk to the owner. Have them remove the residue and then choose another car wash.

I have used Mothers Back to Black (assuming the handles are black) for removing any residue from wax or soap.

I've found tire shine works great for getting wax residue off of the plastic pieces.

 

I've tried Mother's Back to Black too, but it just doesn't work for me

Over here, when you enter a touchless wash there is a huge sign saying that they are not responsible for any damages caused by the system...so I don't think that will work. Unless it's different over there.

Whenever my "automatic washer" leaves soap residue or spots on my vehicle, I send her ass right back out there to do it right!
