Flux

Had some welding done to the rack on my truck, and I found out that the flux was corrosive and needs to be washed off. Well, I tried. I even used a ScotchBrite pad. I got most of it off. Any advice on dealing with it?

Yikes, flux is a cleaner (as you know), it will definately etch into your paint. I use the stuff all the time when I solder...have you tried "goo gone". Best bet might be to polish it and try to blend it.
