My Dealer Is Out Of Business

Recommended Posts

The dealer that I bought my last two HD's has gone out of business. It was a family owned business that operated for 24 years. They were so good for sales and service. i am really sick about it. closed because of the economy. I have two years warranty left and have to go back to a dealer that I really wasn't happy with 3 trucks ago.

As I understand it, GM is supposed to close 1700 dealerships as a result of taking the gov't bailout welfare.

Welfare? Since when is a loan considered welfare?

And BTW, sig pic size is limited to 200 x 700. Per the forum rules.

A majority of the problems are the banks with the loans. They don't want to loan to risky people. I even heard in some cases those that have a good credit score "650-700" were getting turned down. They said they wouldn't loan to anyone who had a credit score under 700. This is also why the housing market is also doing terrible. Everything is in shambles. My neighbor listed his house @ $874,000.00 which 3 years prior was worth about a million, anyway it finally sold for $670,000.00. Circuit City is going bankrupt and closing remaining stores, it's a complete mess out there!
