Strange Leak On Driver Side

Hey guys,

I noticed this winter that i have some sort of leak down on my driver side wheel area of my truck. At first i thought it was an axle boot the way it was sprayed all around, but after closer inspection they seem fine. Then i was looking at my power steering pump because my steering wheel has a weird vibration on it when i turn it to the left but the fluid in there seems up to the right level.

Then i found this weird "hose" that comes out of a wire loom and seems to just hang and i'm not sure what its for. It has a round end on it, and i was thinking some sort of breather /pcv line? I tried to get some pictures of it and maybe you guys can help identify what this is...

Differential Breather hose??

maybe in winter your front diff got warm and pushed some fluid up the hose if you had it in 4x4?????

ok...is it suppose to be connected to something?

How come i saw so much fluid come out of it? And if that is the case would my front differential be dangerously low now?

NOt that i've seen puddles of fluild on the ground, but it did spray around my wheel well quite a bit, at least i think this is the culprit

Its a differential breather hose it is not supposed to be conected to anything but you might want to zip tie it as high as it will go my bet is your diff got warm and pushed fluid up its no big deal but you might want to verify your fluid level in your differential maybe just change your fluid all together it wont hurt anything!!
