20" Rims On 2007 Yukon Denali

I have a 2007 Yukon Denali with the 20" factory rims, and have recently noticed (within the past week) that the rims are starting to pit, either from brake dust or the salt and magnesium they use on the roads. Whats the best polish / cleaner to use to try and remove the pit marks? The rims looked perfect a month ago.

Hot water, soap, elbow grease...i'm sure that will get most of the dirt off.

If the soap and water does not work you will need to purchase some good wheel cleaner. I would suggest waxing them when you get them clean it helps to make cleaning much easier. You can also purchase a set of clean wheels which keeps the brake dust off.

Flitz ball or the bower ball can be your good friend.

 

I like American racing polish.

I use Mother's Chrome polish . Works great!

After a good soap and water washing I use Never Dull

works well on the pitted areas, requires elbow grease!!
