My 06 Denali XL 6.0 with 50k miles misses at idle spped frequently....kind of a rough shake, then smooth for a short while, then does it again. Does it in geaer and in neutral. Cleaned throttle body, no codes present, new air filter, for last 5 tanks of fuel (from different stations)....any suggestions?

Thanks

Hey MD.... If plugs & wires are good, you might want to look at the ECT sensor -- the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor. If bad, that can cause the truck to idle rough. Just a thought...

Good luck!

The quickest solution is to put it on a scanner to find out what cylinder is missing.

You may have to pay a few buck for the scan but at least you wont be guessing and replacing good parts.
