I Want A New Exhaust, But Who Makes One That's Not Too Loud?

Besides the obvious Corsa Touring, who makes a good exhaust system for my 2009 Silverado? I had a Gibson Sport Truck exhaust on my old '04 Sierra HD that I picked up in the used section of Summit Racing for an amazing $175 and it sounded great but it was so unbearably loud on the highway, I don't want anything close to that again. I am on the road a lot nowadays and I would really like to let my truck fart a bit better but don't want to get too loud. Thanks for the input.

Borla before magnaflow for an alternative to what your looking for... otherwise you already know your answer.

Were you set on a full system or maybe just a muffler change out to get some more noise? Frank (Grumpy Aero Guy) was testing out flowmaster's muffler line and found an answer to get rid of drone. He put in the 70 series big block 2 and seemed to like it. There's a post about it somewhere with videos that he took. I'll see if i can find it.

 

Where is Frank these days? Haven't heard from him for a while.

Definitely a corsa. I have had magna and borla on previous cars and they are definitely good systems. in terms of reduced drone and durability and quality - i would definitely, without a doubt, go with corsa.
