2008 2500hd Silverado

Hi Everyone,

 

Looking to upgrade my 04 Denali and getting a 2500HD. I really like GMC's, but found a Silverado that is everything I like. Really like the truck except for those huge chrome bumper caps on the ends. I figure I can't be the only one, so was looking for ideas on what to do. Don't want to go aftermarket bumper, and perfer body color to chrome.

 

So, aside from getting some WT bumpers and painting them, what as anyone done to the chrome?

 

I wouldn't expect the 1500's front bumper would fit... but ya never know... anyone ever try the bumper/bumper caps off of a 1500 that might be body color?

They are changing the HD Silvy's bumper for the 2010 MY to a one-piece chrome similar to the GMC's. If you don't want to wait and buy a 2010 truck, I am sure you could get the bumper and swap it out.

Actually, that front end bumper change will not be happening till the 2011 model year

Solved my problem, bought a GMC!
