What Is The W/t Option?

On a mid 90's Chevy 2wd long bed I saw today... it was a 1500, and it said W/T 1500 on it... what's the W/T? "Work Truck?" I dunno. Thought maybe some of you would.

W/T is just a base level truck. They can be optioned up to a pretty good level but stock they are pretty plain.

Thanks... that's kind of what I thought, because the old brown truck I saw this on didn't have a lot of bling on it.

Some dealers are pretty creative and order their WT trucks with a V8 and lots of toys. If optioned right they can be a real deal and a nice rig.
