P0157 On Hard Acceleration / Hills

Lets pick your guy's brain here. My '04 Silverado (has about 100k miles) recently started giving me a P0157 code sometimes when I accelerate hard or driving on lots of hills. I have read that a bad MAF sensor can cause this, but that usually throws more then just one o2 code.

 

 

Would you guys just go ahead and replace the sensor, or is there something I should be testing first? I have just never had an o2 show signs of going bad only on heavy load.

 

I'm not too terribly worried about that sensor right now, but if that one is going bad... then I'm sure the pre-cat ones are fixing to die soon too.

Oxygen sensors should be replaced as a regular maintenance item every 60,000 miles.
