I am looking to get a tuner for 05 Sierra 1500, have checked into Wait 4 Me, but I am not sure what else is out there. I am getting bigger tires and don't want to lose a ton of milage and I would like to get some more HP but not spend a ton of money. What do you guys think can you give me some info?

Black bear, wheatley are tow website supporting tuners and both are awesome. AND... both are very reasonably priced. :dunno:

Wait4Me is great. But I called and emailed Jesse over a month ago, and never got a response, so the customer service is not very good so far. Blackbear seems to be awesome and I may drink the kool-aid one of these days. So far I like being able to tune and detune with my hand held that Jesse tuned for me, like when I need to tow a large load or have work done on the truck. You can get a second set of PCM's when you get a custom tune to put back in the truck if you want, when you take the truck in for service. Seeing as you are out of warranty, that shouldn't be too big a deal. Just wait to get the tune after you have the bigger tires, so Justin can adjust the speedo accordingly. If you get a handheld, you can do that anytime.

If I had to do it all again, I would have gone with the extra set of PCM's from Justin @ Blackbear. But he wasn't around back then.
