Picked Up Some New Gm Mud Flaps Today

I went to a GM dealer today to look at their mudflaps for my new 09 Sierra and I was totally surprised they were on $19 bucks plus tx for a pair!

I figured they would be a lot higher than that and especially higher than my local Van & Truck World but they weren't, they were almost half priced compared to them and I actually like the GM ones a lot better!

I think I will be looking at GM accessories before I make any further puchases from V&T World or E-Bay and the like?

Did GM just recently lower their prices on their accessories or have I been missing the boat all these years

Were they the mounded ones?

I put them on my Trailblazer and they scratched the shit out of my paint.

no more GM mudflaps for me.

I take it you mean molded ones, and yes they are. I wondered the same thing, the last pair I bought at V&T World for my 97 were the same but they came with some clear protective tape.

I may just try and get some and put it behind these ones when I get the chance?

They are nice looking mudflap and they cover better then the last pair I bought and are a heck of a lot cheaper too!

$19 a pair is pretty cheap. I've never gotten GM mudflaps before and would have guessed $50 a pair.

The flat ones are $19,The molded ones are $50 a pair.

These are the ones I bought, they are called contoured, not molded.

Judging by the pictures, I think I like the contoured ones better, looks like they may cover/protect better too?

Just curious if anyone has drilled and screwed the very lowest point on their flaps, the part that has to be drilled into the very bottom under the back fender?

I just can't bring myself to drilling that spot, the fender lip ok, but not the fender itself?
