Looking for a nice set of stainless oval step bars. I like the GM 6" ones but they are a little pricey. Any suggestions?

I bought the Westin ones for about $200 (powder coated). They are well made, but the instructions suck! Its not like they are hard to put on, but when the first step tells you to match the parts in the box to the parts list and it doesn't (twice) there is a problem with the instructions. The first time Westin made me send them back to the company that I bought them from and the second time I installed them after realizing that the parts list was out of date.

That website does not work.

I am also looking for some bars and have found some great prices on Ebay.

+1.

I would prefer no step bars, but everyone else besides me who has entered the passenger side of the truck greatly appreciate them. I used to carry a stepstool around in the back of the cab for people like my mother and grandmother to step up into the truck. Step bars are much more convenient.

I'm 5'11, but the rest of my family is about 5'0 - 5'6. They all love the oval step bars.

ya, website doesn't work

just found a set of the GM ones for $400,SOLD!

Nice price! Are they brand new??

They will take you around a half hour to install them. All they do is bolt right up to the frame and you're good to go!

I bought a set of Westin's for the truck, and they are great. I think it was an extra 50 bucks and the place I bought them from installed them. Makes it easier with a lift and the proper tools.
