Dealer Won't Part With Part

I purchased a used 2500hd CC from a Chevy dealer on 7/30.

A week after I found that the rear left pass seat buckle was busted.

Called the dealer and sales man agreed that they should have caught that.

Parts man now will not send me the buckle to install (I'm 150 miles away)

He says it's a safety issue.

I told the salesman no problem, pay my days wages and a tank of gas and

I'll come down.

He called me back yesterday and say's it'll be on it's way today.

It's such a safety issue yet they let it get off the lot.

Well thats just stupid...

Finally got the part, several more calls had to be made.

Finally got the sales manager and I told him, look

I twist wrenches for a living, send me the _____ part,

or a check made out to me and the local Chevy dealer and I'll get it installed.

So worried ,they sent it regular mail. LOL

5 minute job and it's all done.

 

That's what I get for not staying local!

Too bad no one near me had what I wanted.
