I love tinkering with cars and their stereo systems. I had a 2013 Ext. Cab but needed more room. The extra features are also a plus. Manual door locks, and windows got old quick. Now I just have to figure out how to put my amps back into this new truck the right way. I would rather use a harness anyday than to splice a wire to pieces.

  1. I have been looking every where fore these headers. I actually would love to put a turbo or two on my 4.3 V6 just to see what she could do. I have heard that a cold air intake would give an extra 15 - 25 h/p at the r/w. I am not a Master Tech. and don't claim to be. However, anyone knows that if you put more air in it has to be able to flow out as fast if not faster than it came in. Too much back pressure will kill any kind of gain. Right now my truck is a work in progress and what I call a clean slate. It is a WT Model is basically bare bones with the exception of power windows, door locks, and upgraded suspension, with tow package for hauling. If you guys find anymore performance upgrades that are worth looking at let me know. "till every tongue confess" BubbasIcehouse
  2. Love my truck. I just need to add some tones and I will be just fine.

  3. I am trying to find out if I can add a single din radio nto the dash witout having to cut up the sub dash. I do not remember where I saw it but I had read that the single din radios would fit into he existing radio module pocket and I would not ave to cut the sub dash. If somone out there can tell me if this is true I would be greatly appreciative. I want o be able to put the factor radio back n if neded.

  4. I have a work truck model with the base radio and I have the exact same issue. The 2013 I traded in for this new body style had no issues what so ever with tuning in my favorite FM stations. Since buying this truck I constantly loose stations or I get static on a regular basis. I took it to the dealer and they claimed there was nothing wrong with it. LOL If anyone has a solution let me know. Rick
