The company also announced that it has received nearly 28,000 orders for the new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and 14,000 orders for the 2015 GMC Canyon. Dealer demand for the new mid-size pickups is stronger than the company had anticipated.

I did my part to increase GMC Sierra sales in August. I purchased a new GMC Sierra SLE Regular Cab Long Bed 4WD Z71.

My new truck is Fire Red with Jet Black cloth seat trim and equipped as follows:

GVWR, 7000 lbs. (3175 kg)

3.42 rear axle ratio

5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine

Preferred Package

Tires, 20" P275/55R20 all-terrain, blackwall

(all-terrain must be meant as a joke by GM – if you could see these tires they look like summer treads.)

20" ultra-bright machined aluminum wheels

6” Chrome rectangular, assist steps

Snow Plow Prep Package

Bed liner, drop in

Off-Road Suspension Package

Trailering Package

Total Discount: $7,000.00. I am very happy with my new GMC. So far so good.

Had to take it back for the transfer case recall about a week after purchase – LOL. Some things never change.
